David Begley is an Irish artist, writer and arts educator, living and working on the Wexford coast. He studied at The West Wales School of The Arts, and has presented his animations, drawings, paintings and prints at galleries and festivals in Australia, China, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, USA and the UK. His anthropomorphic landscapes and allegorical figurative works utilise classical and contemporary techniques while drawing upon invention as much as observation.
