David Begley is an Irish artist and writer, living and working on the Wexford coast. He studied at the West Wales School of the Arts and has presented his animations, drawings, paintings and prints at galleries and festivals nationally and internationally.

The Wexford Whale Animation
For this commission, David explored the history and heritage of Rosslare harbour, facilitated a drawing and animation project with 5th and 6th class pupils of Scoil Mhuire National School, Rosslare, and together with the children created The Wexford Whale, a 12 minute animation.
