A series of exhibitions were held across the port towns in 2022 and 2023, with additional exhibitions held in Aberystwyth and Wexford. The venues were all very different, and each new iteration of the work responded to the opportunities and restrictions of each location.
Visual work consisted of sculpture, photography, prints, illustration, video and installation. Robert Jakes’ large ceramic-tile mural had already been installed in the ferry terminal at Pembroke Dock and was represented by a large photographic reproduction. We also displayed poems and written extracts from our authors, and Peter Murphy’s radio play was made available on an audio player.

Cafodd cyfres o arddangosfeydd ei chynnal ar draws y trefi porthladd yn 2022 a 2023, gydag arddangosfeydd ychwanegol yn cael eu cynnal yn Aberystwyth a Wexford. Roedd y lleoliadau i gyd yn wahanol iawn, ac roedd pob fersiwn newydd o'r gwaith yn ymateb i gyfleoedd a chyfyngiadau pob lleoliad.
Roedd y gwaith gweledol yn cynnwys cerfluniau, ffotograffiaeth, printiau, darluniau, fideo a gosodiadau. Roedd murlun teils seramig mawr Robert Jakes eisoes wedi'i osod yn y derfynfa fferis yn Noc Penfro ac fe gynrychiolwyd y murlun gan atgynhyrchiad ffotograffig mawr. Fe wnaethon ni hefyd arddangos cerddi a darnau ysgrifenedig gan ein hawduron, a darparwyd drama radio Peter Murphy ar chwaraewr sain.
An anthology, Creative Connections across the Irish Sea, was published in May 2022, designed and edited by Mary-Ann Constantine, Martin Crampin and Elizabeth Edwards of the University of Wales Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies (CAWCS). Some of the work included was still in progress, and during 2022 the exhibitions expanded to incorporate new material. Further publications (stories, essays, poems) showcased work by commissioned writers and were launched during events accompanying each of the exhibitions. Other events included talks, workshops and performances by the artists and writers as well as members of the project team.
Cyhoeddwyd blodeugerdd, Cysylltiadau Creadigol ar draws Môr Iwerddon, ym mis Mai 2022, a gynlluniwyd ac a olygwyd gan Mary-Ann Constantine, Martin Crampin ac Elizabeth Edwards o Ganolfan Uwchefrydiau Cymreig a Cheltaidd Prifysgol Cymru. Roedd peth o'r gwaith a gynhwyswyd yn dal i fynd rhagddo, ac yn ystod 2022 ehangwyd yr arddangosfeydd i ymgorffori deunydd newydd. Roedd cyhoeddiadau pellach (straeon, ysgrifau, cerddi) yn tynnu sylw at waith gan awduron a gomisiynwyd ac fe'i lansiwyd yn ystod digwyddiadau a oedd yn cyd-fynd â phob un o'r arddangosfeydd. Roedd y digwyddiadau eraill yn cynnwys sgyrsiau, gweithdai a pherfformiadau gan yr artistiaid a'r awduron yn ogystal ag aelodau o dîm y prosiect.

The exhibitions were curated, designed and installed by the team at CAWCS working closely with Cathrine Agnew of Wexford County Council and on-site technicians.
