Peter Murphy gave readings of his play for voices, We Have Always Been Your Harbour, at the Rosslare Harbour Maritime Festival in June 2022 and at the Exhibition Launch and Film Screening at Liffey Corner, CHQ Building in August 2022.
He was invited to perform the whole piece in Fishguard in March 2023, and was accompanied by musician and co-producer Dan Comerford, who also recorded the play and scored the original music. They performed the piece again together at the project closing event in Cork in April 2023, and the work has continued to evolve into a performance piece.
