Ports, Past and Present: Creative Connections across the Irish Sea Porthladdoedd, Ddoe a Heddiw: Cysylltiadau Creadigol ar draws Môr Iwerddon
15 February – 14 March 2023 | 15 Chwefror – 14 Mawrth 2023
The final display of the Creative Connections exhibition was held in the ‘street’ of County Hall, Wexford in the spring of 2023.
This large space provided the opportunity to include all of the work shown in Holyhead and was the first exhibition to include the entire flotilla made by Marged Pendrell, including alternative versions of many of the boats. Screens were provided for the films and Peter Murphy’s radio play We Have Always Been Your Harbour was available on an audio player.
The exhibition was organised by Cathrine Agnew and installed by Fran Greene and Pavlina Kubelkova.
Readings by Jon Gower and Peter Murphy were followed by discussion hosted by Cathrine Agnew on 3 March, and Julie Merriman gave a talk about her artistic practice and the postcards made for the project.
Cynhaliwyd arddangosfa derfynol Cysylltiadau Creadigol yn 'stryd' Neuadd y Sir, Wexford yng ngwanwyn 2023.
Roedd y gofod mawr hwn yn gyfle i gynnwys yr holl waith a ddangoswyd yng Nghaergybi a hon oedd yr arddangosfa gyntaf i gynnwys y fflotila cyfan a wnaed gan Marged Pendrell, gan gynnwys fersiynau amgen o lawer o'r cychod. Darparwyd sgriniau ar gyfer y ffilmiau ac roedd drama radio Peter Murphy, We Have Always Been Your Harbour, ar gael ar chwaraewr sain.
Trefnwyd yr arddangosfa gan Cathrine Agnew a'i gosod gan Fran Greene a Pavlina Kubelkova.
Ar ôl darlleniadau gan Jon Gower a Peter Murphy cafwyd trafodaeth a gadeiriwyd gan Cathrine Agnew ar 3 Mawrth, a rhoddodd Julie Merriman sgwrs am ei harferion artistig a'r cardiau post a wnaed ar gyfer y prosiect.
