Hannah Power and Rua Barron are two theatre makers from Dublin who recently graduated from Drama and Theatre Studies at Trinity College Dublin. They are committed to making theatre in an experimental form, in traditional and site-specific settings. They use documentary and verbatim theatre as a way to explore the world around us. Investigating society is at the heart of what they create.
Mae Hannah Power a Rua Barron yn ddau wneuthurwr theatr o Ddulyn a raddiodd yn ddiweddar mewn Astudiaethau Drama a Theatr yng Ngholeg y Drindod Dulyn. Maen nhw wedi ymrwymo i wneud theatr ar ffurf arbrofol, mewn mannau traddodiadol ac ar safleoedd penodol. Maen nhw’n defnyddio theatr ddogfen a theatr gair-am-air fel ffordd o archwilio'r byd o'n cwmpas. Ymchwilio i’r gymdeithas sydd wrth galon yr hyn maen nhw'n ei greu.
Rua and Hannah engaged with the local communities on both sides of the river to uncover port stories and personal anecdotes and weave them into a theatrical soundscape. Their audio tour will take you on an adventure, discovering Dublin Docklands and the lives that shape it. If you can, listen to this piece in situ, and soak in the sounds on the audio as well as your surroundings, reflecting on your own feelings to make this experience personal to you.
Cysylltodd Rua a Hannah â'r cymunedau lleol ar ddwy ochr yr afon i ddatgelu straeon am y porthladd a hanesion personol a'u plethu i seinwedd theatrig. Bydd eu taith sain yn mynd â chi ar antur, gan ddarganfod Dociau Dulyn a'r bywydau sy'n ei siapio. Os gallwch chi, gwrandewch ar y darn hwn in situ, a mwynhewch y seiniau yn ogystal â'ch amgylchoedd, gan fyfyrio ar eich teimladau chi’ch hun i wneud y profiad hwn yn bersonol i chi.
